That’s all I managed to take my whole weekend in NYC. Guess I was too busy living in the moment J.
Friday morning I got up dragged myself out of bed, for my 30 minute “run” 4 minutes walking, 1 minute running and then to a yoga sculpt class. I realized after that class that my body hurt so good.
I flew to NYC Friday afternoon and made it to the UWS by 6:30pm and headed to a dinner party with my favorite NYC people and then off to a holiday party. I slept in longer than I have in months, amazing.
We had brunch at a cute restaurant in their neighborhood and then hit up a Pure Yoga class, starbucks and nails. All in all a perfect day. Capped off the day with a sushi dinner at Momoya (Try the greenwich roll) and Fuerza Bruta. The show was high energy and very innovative. It is unlike any other show I’ve seen. It incorporated some cirque du soleil elements, with techno music. Exhausted, we headed home from the show afterwards.
Sunday involved Pure Yoga, truth be told, I was kind of disappointed with my Pure Yoga experience. I took two Vinyasa classes and neither were Vinyasa. I hope to come back and take more classes and find something I like.
Then we went for a walk through Central Park, which is where I took the one picture of my weekend:
went to the MET, and watched my Packers win. It was a perfect weekend in NYC. I love going to NYC, doing a few touristy things, but more so, spending time with my best friend, and doing things that we’d do if we lived in the same city.
And D, was great, inundating me with Tenley pictures, since he was taking care of her all weekend.
Looks like the weekend wore her out...
Hi puppy!
Her favorite spot (if she isn't on a pillow)
Somebody got spoiled this weekend!!
